Apparently Mary On A Cross got picked up on a TikTok trend so it's jumped to the top of Ghost streaming on Spotify & Apple Music. Awesome song, so I see nothing wrong with that.

Saw them last night. Great, great show. They were super tight and everything sounded great, but damn Mastodon before them blew musicianship out of the water.

 

Started listening to this band for the first time over the weekend (for obvious reasons). Only thing I knew about them before now really was the hamburger thing in Chicago and some of the crazier merch.

Anyway, I'm really digging this one and Prequelle, gonna check out the rest of the discog this week. Would be curious to hear what people's favorite album/songs are

 

Cirice is their best song IMO, and Meliora is the best album.

 

Tough call for me, currently my fav song is Griftwood by them though

 

Yeah I really like that one! They definitely write a good hook

 

Yeah, they write catchy ass songs and are fun.

 

I'm so mad I'm just now getting to checking these guys out and missing the past decade of their career, it seems like it would have been so fun to follow in real time

But wow these are some of the catchiest songs I've heard in so long. I NEED to see them live now, I hope they take advantage of the huge moment they're having right now and tour more next year

 

Doesn't really add anything to the original, but still pretty cool.

New cover is super fun, I think his singing is getting noticeably better

 

It’s so tight haha. One of the few songs I liked off We Can’t Dance too

 

The YouTube credits confirm the band worked with Rich Costey (Muse, Angels and Airwaves) for this EP and while I'm surprised they didn't work with Klas Ahlund again, from the sounds of that first cover it seems like a very good choice.

 

This cover absolutely fucks.

I still wrestle with the imagery vs the sound with these guys haha

 

That's one of the best parts for me haha

Metal dudes are almost always very thoughtful, respectful and well read. And caring for others and those left on the margins. It’s a good scene.

This Genesis cover absolutely bangs. I hope the whole EP shines like this does.
