There’s been some talks that S3 was written pretty poorly. And a lot of people weren’t happy with the direction. Bundle that with the writers not “liking” the books or games and the writing is on the wall there.


though, I’m sure Henry is going to be busy with DC stuff for the foreseeable future. Weird he walked away from the role though. He seemed to love it

Henry is a fan of the books/games. It’s pretty obvious he left because the writers don’t care about or even appreciate the source material.

Nah, a producer literally said that writers would make fun of the book behind the scenes and actively disliked it. Henry is a huge fan and has said that he will go all 7 seasons as long as they give the original story justice.

I'm pretty sure they would have delayed for Henry if they had to, plenty of actors are simultaneously doing big movies and TV shows these days. There's gotta be something to these rumors that he was clashing with the showrunner, he's way too big a fan of this property

Fucking bummer, it won't be the same without him. Honestly might be show-ruining

 

If he's out I'm pretty worried about the direction of the show. Especially with the info coming out that the writers and showrunners don't even like the source material.

 

Imagine taking on a project like this and openly disliking the source material.

 

I can understand being inspired by the source material to do something of your own creation, but actively disliking it is wild.
