Are we to assume Should I, Afraid, and Ryan’s Song are old titles for existing songs or songs we’ve never heard?

  3. I’m guessing they’re just working titles for existing songs. “Should I” is most likely “Asthenia.” Not sure about the other two though.

Thought Brad would be more excited about new “rough mixes” surfacing

I think Ryan’s song is Here’s Your Letter. Idk why I remember reading that or hearing that back in the day.

Imagine if the mixes are darker and heavier than the finished product. Would be wild

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

I'd be curious to hear the original Down that was apparently six minutes long

I would think (going off of lyrical content) that "Afraid" is "I'm Lost Without You". He says the phrase "Are you afraid" in both lines of the chorus.

Another guess is that "Ryan's Song" could be "Always". There's a "Ryan Hewitt" listed as an engineer/mix engineer on that song. Also, Mark was referring to that song as "the 80s song" on the Untitled videos which means that it might not have had even a working title for a while.

Edit: Same Ryan seems to have mixed "Not Now" so that might be an answer as well.

I remember having the Down physical single CD with the TLA arrangement. Wish this arrangement was on streaming platforms.

Tom played with another San Diego band (I wanna say Fluf?) fer a sec and they have a pre Cheshire Cat version of Does My Breath Smell with different lyrics (and sung by that band’s singer). I can’t remember if Tom plays on the recording. It’s on youtube, it’s not that good

    Things have changed.

Ryan worked on the entire album

I was going off of the Wiki for the album which lists him as an engineer for the entire album but specifically lists him as a mix engineer for "Always" and "I'm Lost Without You" which would imply heavier involvement in the production process for those two tracks, specifically.

Just another piece of Blink history we’ll never get to hear ):

My assumption would be that it’s Always then since I’m Lost Without You was the last song written for the album

Yeah, at one point “Asthenia” was called “Should Have Got Caught” and had completely different lyrics.

Looks like the LOVE vinyl reissues already sold out? I think I'm gonna pick up "Of Nightmares" because pretty sure that's the only AVA record I don't have on vinyl already. If you don't have Lifeforms yet that Newbury pressing for $15.99 is a steal.

I want to see them but I can not justify spending more than $100 to see them play the same set list they have done for the list 15 years with a couple new songs thrown in.
