Not trying to hear the closer as the first thing from this record. But I’m really hyped for this. Dunno why but I had a bad feeling about their future through the bulk of the pandemic

 

Honestly? Song is just alright but nothing exciting. I’m also not a fan of the cover art or album title ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

At least Elektra didn’t unfairly drop them.

Damn I love this one

 

That’s got to be some of the best album art I’ve seen in a little bit.

 

Running back through You Deserve Love tonight. God damn, if any band was REALLY poised to break big just as Covid hit, this is it.

There’s 5-6 rock singles on here that could have dominated the airwaves just like Might Be Right. First four tracks are a perfect balance between power pop and classic rock. Absolutely timeless.

This scratches that same itch for me.

 

I also listened through You Deserve Love yesterday. There's barely a single boring moment on it. Every song is great and I always find myself wanting more when the album is over. It was my soundtrack to the summer of 2020 and is just a great summer album overall. Fantastic stuff!

Also interesting that at least here in Dallas they are playing a significantly bigger room this time out

 

They have no bad records but I think TWBAB is still my favorite

I think YDL is more consistent but the highs are higher on TWB.

Does it Again is the best title, far and away. Just the ballsiest, most tongue in cheek debut album name I can think of.

 

Yes completely agree lol. And then opening the second record with applause is just chef’s kiss

 

like this band. unfortunate they don't have 2-3 songs in a car or taco bell commercial yet
