The drummer from Echosmith was DMing her inappropriate things and inviting her out or asking to hang out or something, I don’t know about commenting on her posts though.

40:15 in that documentary, I think Tom is playing the riff from that “Dance With Me” Box Car Racer song they played on their tour.

Why not both? Makes the most sense to me that he recycled the riff for Ghost since it was an unreleased song and Tom always recycles his own riffs anyway

 

He also recycled the melody of There Is on that song, two for one Box Car special

 

Yeah the two riffs are identical, Ghost is just moved up a full step. In that doc, he’s actually playing it with the strumming pattern that is more similar to Ghost but in the original key of that Box Car song. It’s pretty clear that he just reused that riff and it changed slightly over the years.

 

Didn’t Tom throw some shade at Skiba-182 back when either CA or Nine came out saying something like “I prefer music with an edge”

I don't remember anything about "an edge", but I do remember him saying something about not being a fan of having outside people write for him ala California.

 

I’d love to see the reactions of the tattoo artist(s) when he brings in the photos and wants them to copy all his tattoos…
