I'm killing time before 5PM walkthroughs. We've outscored our district opponents 327-14 and play an 0-8 team tomorrow night.

  7. Should I wear a Steelers jersey to eagles Steelers? Steelers are bad so no one should give me much shit other than saying they are bad.

I’m okay with the trade. Not super amped about it because I was hoping for someone younger, but I’m glad they traded for an edge rusher because they could use some more juice there (which says a lot about either the individual talent of Sweat, Reddick, and Graham, or about Gannon’s scheme, y’all can figure that one out lol).

I know he’s been really productive in recent prior seasons, but not this one so hopefully he will be more productive here when he’s a part of a rotation and not an offensive line’s main focus like he was for the Bears this season.

Overall, I’m okay with it. Love that the Bears are still paying most of his salary this year and that he has no guaranteed money left beyond this year so they can move on from him if need be.

Better for them to pay Quinn to be unproductive elsewhere and get playing time for Dominique Robinson and Gipson I guess.

Another random rabbit hole I went down today was looking at how much each Super Bowl winner won their combined playoff games by. I’ve only looked through SB 56-24 so maybe a different year has bigger differentials but not sure any team is gonna touch the 1989 San Francisco 49ers. They won their 3 playoff games (including the Super Bowl in what I call “playoff games”) by 100 points! They won by 28, 27, 45. Insane.

The next closest is the 2000 Baltimore Ravens, who played an extra game (wild card) and won those four games by a total of 72 points.

Two teams with a nice 69 (2002 Tampa Bay, 1992 Dallas)

Don’t think anyone would say much than just small busting balls unless you’re being whack (which I don’t think you would be like that)

If you added up all their opponents scores, 26 over the three games, it still wouldnt be enough to beat them in any single game. The Rams would lose 30-26. Vikings would still lose by 15. And the Broncos would still get doubled up.

edit: Good christ, the 1985 Bears allowed 10pts over 3 games...with two of them being shutouts.
