  1. ETILFY has that huuuuuge bridge which is a top 3 moment on TOYPAJ, if not #1

Make sure California is the deluxe version, obviously! Then all of the one-offs, outtakes and collabs from the Skiba-era. "Quarantine", "Not Another Christmas Song", "Why Are We So Broken?", "Out of My Head"... Though there are way too many collabs and features for me to round up. haha.

Sidenote - I had to drive + take a plane last week so I tried to do a much shorter version of this... Couldn't even get through Whisper or I-Empire, don't think I could even start LOVE 1 & 2 lol.

You're missing the entire Alkaline Trio discography.

    Just kidding.

    Or am I?

  6. Forcing myself to listen to both of the Love albums would be literal torture.

I didn't mean it was the first time listening to it, haha. I bought the CD the day it came out.

I agree with Neighborhoods for sure.

This list made me realize we've never done a definitive ranking of list "Best musicians in blink-182". I'm not sure I want to go down that road though. This thread might get locked.

I'd probably agree but switch Tom and Mark lol. I wish I knew more about Travis's actual writing capabilities, but he honestly probably wins just on technical ability alone.

i've never really considered Transplants part of the "blink universe", or a "blink sideproject" in the same way +44 or BCR or AvA would be. i'd pretty much only be adding stuff helmed by either Tom or Mark.
all that time taken up with Transplants album listen throughs could be replaced by more valuable projects by Big Oily Naked Men or whatever Toms first band was called

I did a discog run when they announced the reunion and getting through the Love albums was torture lol. And I actually like a lot of AVA! I genuinely had an easier time with To The Stars lol

Passed a massive licensing exam I've been chipping away at for 2.5 years. The entirety of my study time the last two weeks were spent with Edging on repeat (100's of plays). Its a good song that is so simple it can get lost in the background without being annoying for me to play to no end.

Part of what makes blink so good is the familiarity and memories of whatever season a song/album came out. Will forever have fond memories of the last few weeks and this song will always feel celebratory for me.

It's a bummer to see people essentially say "not as good as the old stuff" and pan it after one listen. Psyching for the album, I am trying to temper my expectations but I think it will be their best since untitled.

I was in the zone baby! It was in the background and likely evidence of my peak levels of intense focus and insanity. Honestly just so happy with how the rollout has gone, and each individual member seeming genuinely excited about the new music has me optimistic.

The Love albums have some real clunkers on them, and even the good songs are cheesy as hell, but you can't tell me that Young London, Surrender, and Anxiety aren't bops.

Between the two albums, there is one album worth of great AVA. I am glad Tom ventured off with Illan after those albums though. That band needed a shakeup creatively. I can't remember the last time I put on Love 2 and heard it front to back. May need to do a play soon.

Surrender makes me cringe, I'm shocked that it's actually one of their more popular songs.

I will get behind the Young London love. That, Shove and Hallucinations are the only three I ever listen to from the Love albums.
