The last two or three times in my life I got involved in pits crazy like that, I got super sick in the days after, so I've shied away from them since, haha

 

lol imagine being the band and nobody is paying attention to you because they're all entranced by a big sweaty man in the pit

 

... and a bunch of frat boys surrounding him.

 

IDK man, I've gone pretty ape shit at some metal shows in the past; I remember seeing Parkway Drive at a really small club in Minneapolis a bunch of years ago and going absolute mental for their whole set, being a sweaty mess by the time the show was over. Metal shows are just the best for letting off steam and going wild, especially when the breakdowns I feel down to my core. I feel those guys in the video

I regret not seeing them live on this latest run.

 

Don't get me wrong, I've had my fair share of days in the pit. Fond memories of getting kicked in the neck and blacking out during the final breakdown of "Blue 42" by Haste the Day lol

Those days are long gone now

 

My ex got windmill punched in the face and had multiple teeth chipped by a drunk beef cake douche once. I was done at that point.

Hey, nobody said anything about not having fun. I am sure those Cavemen are having a blast.

 

Yeah, but insulting their intelligence is not necessary or productive.

 

I can barely last standing more than an hour at a show, let alone mosh my brains out for that amount of time
