Paolo had the first 25/5/5 game in a debut since someone named James back in 2003.

It feels weird as a Magic fan to actually have something to be excited about again, but I'm not complaining.

 

The Cavs were DISMANTLED by injuries last season and 10 minutes into this season Darius Garland practically loses his eye.

Jesus Christ.

 

Paolo is going to be by far the best player in this class imo, dude is the prototype of what you want out of a #1 guy

I think the talking heads are just bored - the team has been playing with this pressure since 2019 lol it's nothing new

I think despite everything we've seen the national media still has a terrible misunderstanding of who Giannis is as a person lol

 

anyways I think the Bucks lose tonight - we have a lot of early season injuries with Middleton and Connaughton

but after tonight we have 6 straight home games - I just think they need to tread water till early-mid November when those two guys get back.

the regular season means nothing - this team will roll out of of bed and win 50 games a top 3 seed I am more interested in seeing how the team develops over the course of the season and where the changes in offensive and defensive approach happens. They won 51 games last season and Giannis, Khris, and Jrue were only together for like 41 of them.

 

we have an old roster yes but a lot of those old players are either on 1 year deals (Wes, Jingles) or on the final year of their deals (Hill, Lopez)

Holiday is 32 and Middleton is 31 but that's not ancient at all

Steph, Lebron, George, Klay, Durant, Harden, Westbrook, Lillard, Butler, Paul, DeRozan are all older than Jrue

Older than Khris…

regardless of how this season plays out the team will look much differently next season

 

and one more thing - it's just so funny that there is pressure on Giannis and the Bucks to win another title JUST ONE YEAR from winning it but guys like Embiid and Harden in Philly, KD and Kyrie in Brooklyn, Lebron and AD in LA and Kawhi and PPG in LA don't have it?

 

Philly really has it, they’ve been hammering that one hard on every pod

 

I don't listen to any pods so I wouldn't know but good because yeah that squad should have the most pressure out of all the teams in the East

 

Milwaukee definitely needs a replacement for Brook, otherwise not to worried about them.

 

well he's either getting traded this season or retiring/finding a new team next season but yeah he's 100% washed

if Indiana is serious about tanking then this is what I want (Indiana also gets Milwaukee's 2028 first rounder):
