What’s the style sonically? Folklore realm or what?

    Got a light?

Love the production on this, lyrics are a mix of impressive and questionable, the poppier songs are actually my favorite as opposed to the slower ones (coming from a huge Folklore/Evermore fan), Lavender Haze and Anti Hero prob my two favs, Vigilante Shit least fav on first listen

So far this is exactly what I could’ve wanted from a Jack Antonoff produced Taylor Swift album called Midnights. Like come on, Anti-Hero is top tier.

I’m getting 1989/reputation/lover vibes from this. No where near what folklore/evermore where

I’m only on Snow on the Beach but this song is pretty evermore ish, whereas everything else has been closest to 1989

The darker 1989/Melodrama comparisons are apt tbh

I have no idea what I'm in for with all of these reactions thus far. But I've had this nagging thought we might be in for her first major miss.

I’m near the end and haven’t liked it a ton on first listen tbh

I didn't really connect with Reputation or Lover at all so I was hoping she would dive more towards the folk-y/indie realm of her songwriting. Still cautiously optimistic though.

    It is definitely not that.

Feels like lover meets reputation but better than both. Still some cringey lyrics. But enjoyable overall! Still finishing
