But yeah I wouldn’t mind a 2 hour set from blink next year

  2. and if you have 9 (soon to be 10) albums that you want to pull songs from for a setlist. it will be interesting to see how many songs from each album they play on their upcoming tour. during their vegas residency, they played a pretty standard setlist that focused mainly on California and Enema, but they really only played stuff from 4 of their 8 albums at the time, which is kind of a bummer.

Most of Blink’s songs are like 2:30 long, as opposed to a Foo or PJ set where their songs can be 4-min + and PJ will jam out.

90 minutes is a fair expectation though. Either way, there still gonna get 20+ songs in.

I think Blink just isn't an exciting enough live band to play for 2 hours to be honest. I know that is blasphemy to you obsessives but they just aren't as dynamic to pull off a show like Green Day or Foo Fighters.

  5. and if they took out "King for a Day/Shout", Green Day's sets would be 90 minutes too. ha.

I like how Mark insists that people wanna hear the hits and not the deep cuts, but Dysentery Gary of all songs seems to be a staple lol

Not complaining, I just find it funny

I’m still baffled by the justification by Mark that dynamic pricing stops scalpers when there are above face value resale tickets on the secondary market currently.

  9. I'm a little late to the discourse, but I've always felt Take Off has this inexplicable depression to the second half of it. Songs like Shut Up and Every Time I Look for You have an overwhelming feeling of sadness without being straight up "sad". I don't know how else to describe it but I guess it's just more emo.

I mean, he didn't say it worked, he just said it's supposed to discourage it.. again, there will always be resellers, but the hope is this discourages people picking up 20 tickets and scalping them at a huge rate. Obviously there are better solutions that other bands have taken, but Blink isn't the only band to opt into this. I hope in the future they figure out a better way.

I’ll say this - Lemmings is getting a ton of play by anyone who has the misfortune of owning a HomePod.

People looking for Matt drama in the Instagram comments are so fucking dumb.

A dude on my FB literally shared the article and wrote "There's gotta be more to the story. #justiceforskiba #blink4piece"

    Dumbass.

Four days later “I keep playing this and it’s stuck in my head all the damn day oh oh”

Confession: I didn’t like “feeling this” when I first watched that music video on the family computer in our kitchen. It was too different.

However, I don’t see a universe where I’m scratching my head in twenty years wondering what the fuck was I thinking with Edging.

I'm glad tickets in Australia aren't subject to dynamic pricing. Reading some of these stories from buyers in the U.S sucks. So shit for you guys. :(

"Feeling This" is an objectively weird song, and I understand why people would've been confused when it came out.

All the verses are based around one constant, simple guitar riff that never really changes or resolves, and the chord progression is only played through an overly complex bass part in the background most people don't even notice. Tom's verses are all shouted, the chorus is super subdued, and the whole thing has this intentionally unmusical sound to it.

I didn't get it when I first heard it, and if I divorce the song from the context of the music video, I still kinda don't get it? But somehow, it's still one of my favorite songs of all time, and I can't explain why.
