Holy shit am I lucky I got a presale ticket in Cleveland, because a lot tickets were available for affordable (compared to now) prices for like, 24 hours. Looks like it's pretty much sold out now and the ones that are left are a significant increase from what they were last week.

Presale tickets were...not like today. Not even close. Wild at how different it is.

If you were on RIGHT at 10 they were still presale price. 30 minutes later…not so much.

guess it’s pencils down time for Cleveland

Well since the whole tour is sold out, they should just announce another tour with normal prices and no dynamic pricing to spite the scalpers. That would be so punk!

Eh, I didn't buy my ticket until well after the presale. I had a dentist appointment that morning, and waited until I got back in my office and was still able to grab an aisle seat in section 126 for $90. My sister and brother-in-law didn't buy until the afternoon, and also were able to get lower level tickets for $90. There were a plethora of tickets available all day. Most were going for hundreds of dollars cheaper than what they were today.

All I want to know is who are all these people that are so comfortably dropping $400+ for a blink ticket

I love the band so much and am so excited they’re back but no thanks on these prices. Jesus

Oh i know I’m talking about today. Presale prices stayed pretty consistent from Wednesday on. I think right at presale launch my seats were $98 and then went up to $140, but that was as far as the needle went

About half of them are probably ticket-buying scalper bots, if I had to guess.

The rest are probably doctors, lawyers, finance bros, and people like me who've had a blink-182 savings fund for several years.

Toronto has obstructed view tickets for like $280, essentially behind the stage lol

So - a scalper bot? Preloaded with a credit card account? That just buys 8 tickets at whatever price?

How naive I feel - I figured it was a guy, like me, sitting at home with a program that reloads itself, or something like that...

Im sure there is a way around the ticketmaster system to buy seats cheap before they increase....

Probably a lot of people who weren't around for the OG era and the 2009-13 reunion. They are a notoriously bad live band (seen em in 99, 01, 02, 09, 11, 13) so...not sure it's worth the cost.

I was reading a story from Newsweek I Think, or somewhere 'reputable' about Bruce tickets at $4K, but it wsa taking forever to load.

So its been around, I just hadnt heard of it - I mean, TM can just increase prices because its got a lot of people looking for tickets?

    sigh.

I don't know the exact ins and outs but its algorithm based. I think it also, in fairness, is to discourage scalping but it definitely can artificially inflate demand during on sales causing a lot of people to panic buy.

  19. Hey Jason could you like get a pair of tickets for each concert to give away? You awarded me blink tickets in like 2011 or something
    O:-)

    Things have changed.

I paid an average of $223 after fees per ticket during the first pre-sale. Pricey, but good seats right near the stage.

You can watch their headline sets on YouTube from the last year or so and most of them are barricades. Sets like Outbreak, FYA, and the Lolla Sub T show are the rare exemptions these days with no barricade. It was weird seeing them go to a barricade band, but that’s their world now.

one thing I learned from My Chemical Romance resale market was there’s no way in hell most of these tickets resell at these values and may be able to find a good deal closer to the show. If not, I’m more than happy to sit these shows out because this is just crazy.

Tickets for Dallas were all over the place. They were like 95% "Verified Resale" seats which is ridiculous. Two tickets in the terrace level would be $200 a piece and then the seats right next to those would be like $375.

I went from planning to go to 3 shows on this tour to having tickets for none of them.

Really hope it's a case of scalpers/bots scooping up numerous tickets and that they'll start unloading inventory at some point next year for decent prices. The hype and demand is nutso for the moment!
