Edging is getting me pretty hyped this morning. Honestly, the bridge is probably the closest to “classic” fun Blink than anything on Neighborhoods. Mark and Tom still sound so good next to each other. But nostalgia aside, it’s still a really fun song.

I love TWIABP and don’t care if others think the song sucks but I don’t get the Mark criticism, haha. I think his performance works really well. Like others, I love the “there’s a special place in hell..”

I also can’t believe how much that dumb little video has elevated the song - I keep wanting to do that little Mark dance you see him do for like two seconds.

 

Tom’s teasing was pretty on point with Lifeforms so i’m optimistic. I hope the next single is a progressive song that breaks all of our brains.

 

Kenny is the best. I would love to see him get an opening spot on this tour. Is this tour really only going to have two bands? Do we think there will be surprise sets?

 

I’m actually surprised by people not liking this song. That chorus is so damn catchy I can’t get it out of my head. The short song length also helps

 

Why did they work with Cole Bennett though? That dude sucks ass.

Ok @Nathan & @Jason Tate & company, you're right, KennyHoopla is real good.

My heart still belongs to Avril because she was important to teenage me, lol, but I'll definitely listen to more of his stuff.

 

I’m not hyped for Edging as a single. If it didn’t have the Blink name attached I probably wouldn’t give it much attention. That said, took me a while to get into Blame It on My Youth (as other shared as well). I also liked BIOMY better on the album than as a stand alone, so I’m hoping the same thing here. Plus, by album roll out time in Spring Summer there will be another single for all of us to take in and may better represent a 2023 version of Blink.

I do think it’s cool they put out a song with the reunion announcement and tour announcement. Kudos on that decision.

Tom has stayed silent about to the stars since the announcement, so for that, I’m grateful.
