Betty Who - BIG! (October 14, 2022) Album

4th album out this year

 

Thought Blow Out My Candle was pretty cool. I always really want to get into her but it's never really happened. Maybe this time!

 

Very fun first single. Do we have a release date for the album yet?

I still think that her first album is front-to-back perfection. The second and third albums have some great songs but they're pretty inconsistent for me. Always hoping for another 10/10 from her because she's got a great voice and aesthetic for catchy pop. Excited for the new one for sure.

 

I haven't seen a date yet, just that she announced the title on a podcast

That outfit makes her look like she works concessions at Animal Kingdom. Good song though.

So..... this thing is fucking great, is this her best album now?? It might be

 

Sheesh, you might be right. Even after one listen it's neck and neck with Take Me When You Go. I'll have to give it some room to breathe to properly compare, but wow, what an album.

 

Also, "Big" is a fantastic opener, and it's clear that she's feeling much more herself with this record.

 

This really is a fantastic record. Blown away by this.
