Given how they wasted their last top 10 pick on fucking Kevin White, I don't think that necessarily gives Bears fans real hope.

That was easily one of the stupidest draft picks in recent memory. He wasn't that good, the Bears had just shipped off Brandon Marshall for peanuts, and there were elite defenders and lineman on the board.

Hindsight is always 20/20 and the guy has had three games as a pro so far... Chill. They also basically had another top 10 pick this april and might have another next year. Its not about where you pick its who you pick.

It's projecting out a ways here but....if Bradford keeps playing the way he is and the Vikings make a deep run in the playoffs. What do the Vikings do next year?

Sammy Sleeves has one more year on his deal after this at 17M (4M of that being in a roster bonus)
Teddy B. has one more year on his deal at 2.179M

So really, they could easily keep them both but you'd think that they'd want to move one of them and recoup something rather than see Teddy walk after 2017 if Sam is assumed the starter in 2017 (again, this is projecting the Vikings get to the NFC Divisional Round or better).

If they were to trade one, which one would they trade and what might they be able to get? Could get flip Sam and get a 1st from someone or would someone bank on Teddy's knee being okay and give something decent for him?

    Wacky stuff.

If teddy never goes down the eagles dont go 3-0 and have a chance to make the superbowl. Crazy.

Whatever happens with Bradford it'll be stupid anyway.
I care more about Denver. What are they gonna do?

To be fair in this offense with the way Doug is running it, Bradford probably would have been pretty damn good still.

  8. Vikings defense is going to make Bradford seem more valuable than he is. Bradford obviously didn't play bad yesterday but it's not like he lit it up either. He had one TD drive. Outside of that they scored on a safety, a punt return, and two FG (one of which came on very short field after an INT). What is making Bradford work is not turning the ball over. Which is good enough when his defense is playing insanely well.

If Teddy's knee turns out to be ok they should keep him. But I don't know if he'll be able to fully recover.

If Siemian continues to progress and play well they surely will try and flip Lynch, they're not going to screw with that again

    Bridgewater isn't that good

Drew Beringer and Kyle is hk like this.
  11. I think the potential of what Teddy can be is better than what we've seen from Bradford over his career.

Bridgewater isn't that good. Neither is Bradford. But Bridgewater has been underrated throughout his career while Bradford is the most overrated QB in the league.

It'll be nuts when the Jags drive the Gus Bus off a cliff, hire Pat Shurmur as their new HC, Trade Blake Bortles in his contract year for a 2nd or 3rd to the Giants after Eli announces his retirement and then trades for Sammy Sleeves.

Even though the giants got a crapload of injuries, they'll test Bradford this week. I think it might be close, maybe idk

Tbh idk anything, this year has been weird so far

But for real, the Jaguars coach is gonna be Josh McDaniels or Jim Mora.

Aren't the Giants going to be down their Top 3 corners not only this week but for a little while?

Thought I saw that yesterday evening.

Thats what Im expecting. There's an almost 0% chance he is ready by Week 1 next year either way...

Teddy B is untradeable until he plays a game. No team takes that risk and gives up anything more than a conditional late rounder...in which case, why would the Vikings trade a potentially great backup or future starter?

Bradford could probably be traded again for a 1st or 2nd, to a team that wanted him long-term, though, the fact he's been traded so frequently starts to hurt his luster. And again, Teddy B isnt playing Week 1 unless AP gave him his super-healing power, so, that would mean the Vikings have another QB they like more than Bradford.

The more interesting question for the Vikings is, if they have a good playoff run with Bradford, what do they do with AP?

Such an interesting name (I assume you are talking about Jr.)

I wonder if the demand for him is going to be that high if he gets fired from UCLA? I think that is a realistic possibility this year.

I don't think there is anyway that AP is back with the Vikings next year, imo.
