This just isn't an acceptable response. The shows don’t happen without him, he is in charge of this. I’d rather them ignore it than claim they have no agency.

I guess I don’t know what people were expecting from a lead single to announce the “original” members are back. I’m sure the album will have Mark and Tom only songs like usual. I’m sure there will be “experimental” songs on the album too. But it would have been a mistake to do a Tom or Mark only experimental song as a lead single vs. a catchy pop punk song instead.

Apple Shampoo if it counts. Then Not Now if that counts. Then After Midnight or Dammit

It's really hard to place Dammit because obviously it's great but also I've heard it so many times it's hard to divorce from context

First Date was first for me in 2001 and reason why I love this band so much.

Hard tie for me in that #1 spot. "Feeling This" and "Dammit" are both stellar singles with multiple hooks. "What's My Age Again?" and "Bored to Death" are 2nd and their 3rd, respectively.

"Man Overboard" and "Adam's Song" are up there too.

Great and fun song - I like it a lot! I would expect another type of song for a comeback lead single, but I am satisfied :upside::blink182:

Mark is in no way in charge of what's happening in regards to dynamic pricing. It's a regional issue, we don't have it here in the UK.

It's 70 for 12 months so technically 8-900 bucks total, but Blink and Green Day are really the only bands I'd do that with. Anyone else, I wouldn't be going to the show. And it was legit cuz they transferred my ticket immediately over to Ticketmaster so I've got it in my app. I did that with the Panic at the Disco show last month and it worked just fine.

There's a moment in that first pre-chorus with Tom that feels like it had the potential for him to go full AVA. But he didn't.

    Good sign.

Pittsburgh peep here, I’ve been to PPG for several concerts but never on the floor so I’m not sure.

For all of our complaining about the ticket prices, the fact is millions of people still bought them. For the three NYC shows, that's a total of almost 60,000 tickets sold, all sold within a day, with the prices averaging around $300 each. And 60k people bought them without hesitation.

The dynamic pricing is bullshit, but it just proved the demand for the shows. If half the people who bought tickets said "fuck that" to the price, maybe the prices wouldn't have soared and maybe even come down a bit.
My point is not to shame us for being suckers lol, but that it basically was a successful test by Ticketmaster to see how much they can keep charging before people say its not worth it.

Because he's being absolutely bombarded with stuff he can't control.

The Discord is designed to be a fun place to talk about the band and communicate with Mark, but it's now becoming a complaints department. After everything Mark has been through the past year, I think we can cut him some slack.

Again, the issue is with Ticketmaster and their dynamic pricing model. Don't get me wrong, it's sickening - but it's out of Mark's hands.

Who knows, maybe they'll announce more shows and come up with their own model in the coming days.

He is in a position to put his foot down about these criminal practices that are taking advantage of his fanbase, but he chooses not to. Again, this tour doesn’t happen without him.

It’s extremely disappointing to me that more artists are not boycotting this shit. Just makes them seem way out of touch with working people. And it’s not just blink.
