I preorder things that I don't believe exist all the time.

The Last Guardian, Final Fantasy XV, and if I could, I'd preorder Half-Life 3.

 

I'm just saying, new Brand New news would drive a lot of traffic to this site and put it to the test, especially if that was new album news. Maybe @Jason Tate planned it this way all along.

Or maybe it's late, I'm delirious, and should try to sleep.

My totally bulletproof conspiracy theory is that brand new has been holding off releasing new music this entire time so people would finally come around to Daisy.

 

I hope they're not waiting for me...

 

Might as well sub here, I s'pose.

It's incredible to me just how influential this band has been on my musical tastes. Without them I may have never checked out Modest Mouse, Kevin Devine, Glassjaw, Manchester Orchestra, and I'm sure many more artists I'm missing. Also hard to believe I've been a fan for almost a decade now.

Anyway, I'm excited to see them in July for the 3rd time and I'm hoping to at least hear some new stuff live at that show.

I still haven't been able to fully dive into the Brand New discog, but I see a lot of things in it I like. At the moment, I've only fully digested Deja and I really want to get into TDAG because of all the praise it receives.

 

You won't regret it. The Devil and God is one of the best albums this music scene had produced.

 

I can listen to TDAG multiple times a day for a week straight and still never get tired of it. Jesus > Degausser > Limousine > You Won't Know might be the greatest string of songs on an album ever.

 

Agreed so much! The flow of that album is perfect. I don't think I'll ever reach a point where I get tired of it

Did we ever truly get to the bottom of what happened with the whole Nobody Moves (Prime version, as @Jason Tate coined it)?

Was it ever supposed to be part of the digital download? That whole situation was so crazy. Wish I had a lossless version of it, but I'll take the 320kbps.

 

I can never tell if people get half the stuff I say or do. Hahah.

Likewise dude. Glad to see that all the regulars are still around. I'm slowly but surely getting used to it here. Embracing the change head on.

 

Liking this new change. Very user friendly on desktop and mobile alike. Clean. I like it.

 

You can get lossless if you buy it on bandcamp. (Something I fully intend to do when I get my next paycheck)
