When do records get put on the shelves these days? Definitely going to purchase the vinyl; should I expect Newbury Comics to have it this weekend?

Depends on when stores get it, but this one has been shipping on time, so they’ll probably have it out tomorrow

  6. Well, it definitely sounds like Jack Antonoff produced a 1975 album.

I love most of these songs, but I'm the minority when it comes to the Jack influence. I am not enamored with the old school/old rock sonic palette. I feel like these songs would only be better with the usual bigger production/1975 sonic bombast.

This just feels waaay more repeat listenable than Notes ever was

i love a more raw sound way more. these days i tend to dislike anything that is overly glossy because it just doesnt feel as..authentic? i suppose? so production-wise this is perfect for me.

I have a lot of negative things to say about Matty and the band - but inauthentic will never be one of them - regardless of their sonic presentation. I tend to agree with your sentiment in most cases - but this is a band that I enjoy the gloss and pomp.

This is really next level, to me. Listening to what they can do at their most focused and intentional is amazing, because Notes contained some of their best work, but it also sat alongside some of their most lackluster, imo. Knocked it out of the park. 5 stars from this journalist, Matty.

  25. The ending of the intro track is oddly very Mike Dean. Love to see it.
