Well just had a weird thing happen while trying to get Chicago tickets. I was only able to get face value tickets without dynamic pricing. Everything I clicked on would instantly get added in my cart. Then booted. These are some nice pics I took to enjoy the moment.

  2. This song has great moments but is definitely a bit of a clunker sometimes. Pretty much what I expected, although I was hoping for something like Up All Night or Bored to Death that really got me excited about those eras.

Waiting until tomorrow to hear the song to see how they roll it out officially.
I'll be back eventually! Hope the hype is still alive and well.

Song is super fun and captures the goofy dynamic between Mark and Tom pretty well, BUT I hope the new album continues down the Untitled/Neighborhoods/DED route of experimentation and more serious themes.

When do we expect the music video to come out?

Yeah I'm gonna wait to see what StubHub or SeatGeek has to offer in the coming months. Or if I get a big bonus during the holidays or a lot of money for my birthday, I'll get a pit ticket that way. I'm not getting an expensive ticket for a shitty spot in an arena. I love this band too much for that.

Also song is fun. Obviously not the best thing they've ever done, but the trade off of vocals between Mark and Tom is great to hear.

Haha and none of the complaints are consistent either so it's impossible to get a feel for what is actually wrong in there. People just throwing out complaints and confirmation bias runs rampant.

re: tom crushing blink’s angst, Marks verse is classic Mark. He’s one of my all time favorite narrative lyricists. Bringing the subtle dark lyrics set to poppy hopeful hooks since Adam’s Song.

Interestingly enough this is the least flashy drum part I can think of from Travis, but it seems like he’s locked in the producer role and giving the song what it needs. With this song as the template I am cool to hear Travis producing the majority of the album. I was hoping they would all trade producer roles and each song they did had their signature sounds on it, but this single is shockingly cohesive getting the best of everyone in this modern iteration of blink. Simple, subtle, catchy, and singalong.

Have to imagine a third date is already scheduled but that could be tough with NBA postseason being likely for the Bulls.

I am optimistic this album will be a proper nod to all of their catalogue without sounding like a callback. Life forms and NINE has a lot of different sounds, and the single is a nice cohesive mix. Tom loves going for it with ideas and sounds, mark can write catchy interesting lyrics to anything, and it seems like travis will be the anchor musically.

If Chicago gets a 3rd date it would mean they would be playing 4 straight days. Most of the tour is 2/3 days in a row

Really sucks we’re living in a time where re-sale is going to end up being cheaper.

I had two Chicago night two tickets in my cart for $95 each. Disappeared and then jumped to $300. I hate this place.

Paid £200 for front pit and early admission/some weird VIP shit at London. I’m entirely disgusted with myself but the heart wants what the heart wants.

I’ll grab tickets for Denver if reasonable seats show up for less than $100. I just can’t bring myself to pay that much for a ticket to ANY show.

Hope so. I guess I should just be happy that this is the blink 182 I grew up with and fell in love with, regardless of the direction they go in.
