I actually think the singles are quite good, especially the Highs and the Lows. He at least seems to be trying again with his lyricism

 

Yeah I had zero enthusiasm for Chance but these singles are solid

 

We are probably not getting the album this year at this rate lol

 

If he's smart, he'll plan a new album release right around the season of The Voice's premiere

 

Chance on The Voice sounds about right at this point

I’ll be the first one to criticize new Chance but… this song is genuinely great.

 

The Big Day was...not the best and his output since has been a mixed bag, so I understand people having reservations about him putting out "good" music, but you (general you) at least have to listen to the song before being critical lol. Brushing off the song without even listening, I don't understand the point of doing that.

Also yes the song is really good, hopefully a more permanent return to form for him!
