Managed to get in for London! Got thrown off by the separate standing sections though, oof.

I did too. Annoying that they’ve separated it. I went for rear as it was more affordable, and I get a little claustrophobic down the front.

Was eyeing the rear tickets when I saw the prices but then said fuck it and went for the front. Will be broke for the rest of the month but whatever, haha

  9. Hey, it's probably been a long time since I posted in this thread. Among acts such as System Of A Down, Sum 41, Linkin Park, Papa Roach and Korn, Blink was my gateway not only to rock but to music in general. I'll always have fond memories of 2002/2003, seeing them played on TV and radio, listening to their records while playing videogames or poorly skateboarding.

Going into this second reunion, I admit I wasn't feeling it at first because the 2009-2014 era was exhausting at times. With that being said, their post-reunion material brought some classics that I still revisit. The announcement also made me reminisce about the Luxembourg concert I saw them play in Summer 2012 with my brother and friends, who all are or were Blink fans. That night was a childhood dream come true for us and I'll always cherish this memory.

I'm not into the snippets for "Edging" yet. To be honest I tend to not like when that particular drum beat or time signature is used in rock or punk, so hearing Blink over it immediately felt weird. We'll see how the full song goes. Once the rumors started, I had a feeling Tom & co would let the Rubin(s?) work with them on new material. Knowing Tom has made his best AVA stuff with the brothers, their possible involvement automatically makes the prospect of new music more promising for me. As long as all their hearts are into it and the chemistry is genuine this time, I really want to think this reunion is going to fare much better than the last.

Same! Glasgow 2010 and London 2012. It's been a loooong time coming (no pun intended)

Got standing tickets! Now I can fully embrace the excitement - yesterday I was already getting nervous about tickets.

Blink are back - and having a good time! Those discord messages from Mark were great to read.

Loving the clips of Edging so far. I do prefer serious Blink (untitled is my favourite album by far) but I’m more than happy for some feel good Blink.

  14. For the North America tickets going live today, is “wearecoming” the code?

Yep it is! I’m not sure if it’s all caps or all lowercase though

Do or do not, there is no try.

Ticketmaster are the absolute worst. Secured tickets, 5 minutes on the countdown still, completed order.. “error”. Gone.

Managed other seats, not as good.. same thing again.

Yeah they really do. "Ticket prices may fluctuate due to demand". But whyyyyy though? Fuckin' dicks.

Hope this carries over to North America. That's pretty reasonable considering how wild ticket prices have been over the last couple of years.

I would be fucking fuming. It's probably just a matter of time before we get dynamic pricing over here as well...

I'm going to simulate the feeling of buying blink tickets by waiting for them, refreshing the page right at 10 and keeping whatever tickets I can get in my cart until the timer runs out. Then go back to work depressed that I cannot afford tickets right now. Thanks a lot, MCR.
