I think I’m gonna shoot for LA’s show

 

I’m still VERY curious as to how Ticket sales are all gonna shake out.

Ticket inflation is through the roof, last Blink tour (albeit with Matt) was a disaster and they already did a reunion tour in the past.

I *assume* demand will be high, but I also see other popular NOW acts struggling with arena tours (Panic!, Twenty One Pilots).

So, are we taking venues sell out ASAP, sell out after a few months, or struggle to sell out at all? I think some markets will be all over the place.

 

probably more than a longshot but those two songs that weren't finished for Lifeforms being used for this instead would be sick

If I listen to What’s My Age Again and nothing else, does that count as a Scrobble for the entire album?

 

It just counts as 1 song in the album.

 

My gut is not gonna sell out fast. Maybe I’m wrong. From the prices I saw mentioned for a few dates they seemed reasonable and well priced, but this is a lot of seats.

For my sake I hope I’m right because I haven’t decided what show I want to go to yet and planned it.

NEED the leak! the chorus has been floating around in my head all day. The clip that is less than a minute is giving me serious itunes preview vibes though.

 

I think I’m just gonna wait until Friday for the leak. I’ve really enjoyed going with the flow today with all the band announcements. It was great guessing and lining up rumors leading up to it, but I’m ready to take a back seat.

Haha. People are probably gonna be split on it. More like than not. It doesn’t shy away from being a pop song, Ramones influence, it is glossy, but it’s new Blink, I’m predisposed to love it, you know? I think better response than BIOMY, not as good as BTD if I had to guess.

 

I was young, but I would get home from school and hope I didn't miss whatever number WMAA landed on TRL that day.

Not the specific song, but I do remember recording an episode of a nationally syndicated radio show called Modern Rock Live where a guy interviewed Mark and Tom and played a handful of songs from Enema before it came out. I was fucking blown away at them playing songs from the CD before it was available to purchase. I don't remember much from the interview except for Mark talking about how he got into an argument with Dave Grohl over which video was funnier: WMAA vs. Learn to Fly.

There are definitely several VHS tapes worth of pretty much any Blink appearance on MTV or VH1 from 98-04 at my parents' house somewhere. My favorite moment remains Tom cutting off Carson Daly saying "We're back with MTV Live and Almost Legal" with "Mark's dad has a tape called dead and almost legal."

 

I was wondering when someone posted your scrobble of the single, when you are listening to unreleased advances, do you have to remember to pause it delete your scrobbles, or do you usually listen via a platform that isn't tracking?

 

Depends if it’s been embargoed to not even say I have it or not, which is super super rare. I’ve only had a few times people send something where they’ve said this is a surprise release (Rise Against EP was the last I remember) and on those, I turn it off, then re-add after they’re announced. (Actually that MUNA EP that’s out now was another, so I guess maybe it’s not that rare.)

(I didn’t have this before today, if I did, I wouldn’t have played it and let it Scrobble.)
