Not relevant whether he’s upset/how much money he’s made, it would just be classy to acknowledge his contribution to keeping blink going rather than just ignoring his era

 

Him joining blink for sure opened my eyes for trio. One of my favorite bands now and i love his solo stuff.

 

That's what it looks like. They obviously already recorded some (not sure how much), but they still have like six months to knock it out. If they can't finish the album before then, you know things are still fucked lol.

Knowing full well it is mid-October and I can say with almost certainty Edging will be on my Spotify end-of-the-year Unwrapped top 10 most played songs.

Worth remembering that Matt was friends with all these guys including Tom before he joined Blink. They actively talked about Alkaline Trio being influences on s/t, I think they were playing some shows together around that time, etc. No chance they sprung this on Matt out of no where, and knowing Skiba's general personality, very very very little chance he's at all upset about it. I'm sure it's a "hey man if Tom needs to take another break you're still interested..." type of deal anyway.

 

On one hand, Blink is back. On the other hand, I just got laid off, sooooo.

I kinda feel like they would make sure the album was at least near completion before announcing everything with how things went last time but I GUESS WE WILL FIND OUT

 

I have more friends I haven’t spoken to in years texting me about blink today than I get birthday texts….

 

Guys, they plotted out an entire world tour, photoshoot, filmed a music video, writing and recording sessions, etc.

I am very confident there were discussions with Matt behind closed doors during that timeframe. Probably months ago.
