All joking aside, I'm sure I'm going to play Edging into the dirt by the time May rolls around.

 

I'm definitely in the "cautiously optimistic" camp with the new music (and the clip). Lifeforms was pretty good in some spots, but Tom just....has a limited range of music tricks, I guess. Everything he does has the same sort of vibe and he tends to recycle melodies. I don't doubt that he can't write some great things when pushed (I love "Kiss and Tell"), but he needs people to break him out of those habits.

Can't say I'm not still super excited for the new album and song though.

 

Definitely hitting San Diego, possibly LA.

The promo photos look so natural and fun. So happy they're back.

 

Sounds like the tom clip is the vocal intro and the mark part is the chorus. My expectations were tempered going in and I am really excited to hear the whole thing.
