Did you physically ship yours or how did you handle switching to digital? Gotta ship mine

 

I just got a digital ticket to my email and sent it to the buyer.

 

Just bought tickets to weekend 2 as I couldn’t pass them up for $135 after fees on Stubhub. I was crazy bummed when I wasn’t able to get tickets at release but I suppose it all worked out!

Blink have confirmed there will be a 2023 edition of When We Were Young. Didn't expect that, but it makes sense given ticket sales! Not sure how they could match the lineup in a 2nd year..

How easy has it to been for people to buy resale? Want to attend 2023 but i gotta pay off these flights/rooms for this year first. Probably buying resale for next year

So I guess we can start speculating bands not playing this year that might be on next year?

Still wild to me that Sum 41, Good Charlotte, and Simple Plan aren't on this.

 

I feel like the Emery guys mentioned on a podcast that they were doing the 2023 edition

 

Hopefully you got your logistics worked out as I think the main reason they're so cheap is that it's insane to get out there and stay out there right now. I have a 5 night stay at one of the 'dumpier' hotels and it was a $600 stay that's now $1500.

Surprisingly tho, my same flight is actually way less right now which I did not expect based on stories I've read.

Also it's convenient to release tickets for 2023 right before set times for 2022. There's gonna be a lot of bitching I'm sure about conflicts, short set times, walk between sets etc.

All I'm saying is I ain't buying for next year until this year is all said and done and even then, my fest money may go to another experience.

There have also been bread crumbs dropping today for a Live Nation festival in Atlantic City on 5/28/23 called Adjacent.
Blink 182 and Paramore headlining, and The Starting Line and Knocked Loose also confirmed themselves. Kinda sounds like they're trying the east coast version of this.

Wait, so where was it confirmed that Green Day is playing next year?

 

Blinks press release or something talking about the tour dates for next year.

 

Have a feeling we might see No Doubt pop up at WWWY next year.

 

I wouldn’t be surprised if Something Corporate pops up too

 

Interestingly, it's also just a few weeks after the return of Bamboozle in Atlantic City as well

Luckily I’ve had a hotel lined up for some time that weekend through a friend. Have just been waiting for prices to hit a ‘can’t not buy’ moment which yesterday was for me. I just need to buy flights now which based on what you’ve said may line up as well!

crazy about 2023 being announced and on sale prior to 2022 even taking place. Even with this years resale being poor, I fully expect the hype to also sell out 2023 instantly again (Blink, Green Day, etc.)
