God what a morning. Haven't done any work yet, just been catching up lol
Some thoughts:

- Hilarious that When We Were Young 2023 is already going on sale before the 2022 one happens. I've learned my lesson, dont need to buy tickets so far in advance on that one. Also, did everyone miss that Green Day is also headlining?! That's wild.
- Very confused about Adjacent Festival. Bamboozle's tweet and IG post makes it seem like they are the same festival, but there are different dates posted. Bamboozle is 5/5-5/7, and Adjacent is 5/28.
- both clips of the new song sound promising, so stoked for Friday
- Sounds like I'm gonna be seeing them at least 3 times on this tour. Good luck to everyone with the presale tomorrow!

 

It's too short to tell if it's bad.....but definitely long enough to tell that it's good.

Ontop of that Bamboozle is run by a wild man and Adjacent looks to be a LiveNation concert. Odd.

 

Bamboozle is sniping at them for having the GALL to do another festival in AC.

If this is true then it's hilarious that with all the history of Bamboozle and the hype that guy has been putting into the return, he couldn't snag the 2 most in demand acts currently for this scene. He lost out to an inaugural festival.

But with Adjacent Festival being only 1 day, run by Live Nation, and headlined by both Blink AND Paramore, it makes me think they're trying to do a When We Were Young East.

 

Have they ever played Tijuana before?

 

If I'm Blink I'm taking Alkaline Trio on this first tour. I think they should try to give that band a boost since Matt helped them out.

Im guessing this is not happenning, but it would have been great to see.

 

def makes me think they are going to have to make sure to price bamboozle really affordable or people will just pay the slightly higher prices for the bigger festival

 

This rollout is so unike them and i love it. This must have been in the making for well over a year? A world tour is not something you plan in a heartbeat.
