They were saying that’s what time it was there, to put into perspective what they men’s by saying “in a few hours”

 

Nothing against them, specifically, but when unaffiliated channels say "announcement is coming ____", that's when I tend to tune them out. This is how you get people worked up and pissed off at the band when a "promised announcement" doesn't happen at a time when the official channels never even claimed there would be one.

They could be right, but at that point you might as well just hang tight and wait until you hear an official word.

 

If it's 11pm in Italy, a "few hours" could very well refer to the Lolla announcement tomorrow, which is what everyone is expecting to be the trigger at this point. Or at least around that. I would be pretty shocked if it's like dinner time here and they're dropping news.

Chile's current time is almost 6:00 PM, so assuming they announce their lineup at midnight of the 11th, then we miiiiight at least get that info in about 6 hours aka "a few hours."

lollapalooza Brazil is actually announcing before Chile. Brazil is announcing at 8pm PT tonight. Yayyy!
