I was at this show as well. Someone got really hurt during Good Charlotte and they had to pause the majority of their set. It was a sold out ampitheater show yet all but 3 bands played on the side stages so it was like 30k people crushed in a tiny area of the ampitheater rotating between two stages.

Lawn's fine when you're young and dgaf, once you get to your mid 30s you definitely just want a seat haha.

My general rule is for guaging how good my view is at a show:

-If I can tell what shoes the performer is wearing, I have a great spot.

-If I can make out their face, I have a decent spot.

-If I can't quite identify them, but can look at a jumbotron, then I have a mediocre spot.

-If I can't see them period, I might as well have stayed home.

I've only been lawn once, at Warped Tour, but I remember thinking "damn, I can't see anything" and knowing then I'd never do lawn.

I recently revisited their Engage and Free at Last albums. They hold up really well.

I probably haven't listened to them in 20ish years, but that's about to change.

Will probably see them in Birmingham and assuming they play London I’ll try go there as well.

TSSF are super boring live so I hope they aren’t on the North American dates

  17. Pretty confident TSSF has a headliner early next year for a new album. Wouldn’t imagine they’re on NA dates

Hmm the Reddit leaker who leaked the dates said the morning of October 12th :s doesn’t make sense if Lolla is announced tomorrow morning

Unless Blink is blurred out on the Lolla anouncement tomorrow, and Blink gets to announce it Wednesday with all the other news.

  21. I refuse to be up at like 6am for the Lolla announcement. I'd appreciate my favorite bands announce reunions in line with my sleep schedule. Thanks.
