I wouldn’t be surprised if the live AVA album Tom was working on earlier this year was in-fact new blink.

 

I hope the tour is called the mark, tom, and travis show pt. 2

 

I feel like we might be getting new music soon. With billboards going up I doubt it’s just to hype a tour happening next year or to announce Tom is back.

Would love it if they finally released that 2013 Untitled anniversary concert they recorded with a new song at the end as a ‘bonus track’ similar to Man Overboard being released with TMTTS live album this week to go along with the tour announcement.

I suspect a “182 industries” commercial style video to drop Tuesday. Maybe with a bit of a song tease too.

 

Now they’re advertising on Reddit. Bring on the song.

 

blink-182 is cumming for us all!

 

Played though DED again, California, and Untitled.

Untitled is my favorite by a lot. I would be really excited to see that live.

I love California but playing them back to back exposes how glossy and callback heavy it is. Love Matt’s part on Cynical and Left Alone.

DED is really doing it for me right now.

Ready to jump into the back catalogue, it’s been a very long time.

 

Already, this "return" is so much more fun than the previous Tom Reunion.

Whereas in 2009 or whatever, we just got the little return blurb and grammy's announcement, this time around there's so much more thought and creativity to the return (between the posters in New York / the banner / the new website / etc).

I don't want to extrapolate, but this makes me hopeful that this reunion is going to be more fruitful than the last one. I mean, I'm definitely in the camp of "Tom wants money", but I don't want to be entirely cynical. This is already a blast, and nothing has happened. Considering the recent AVA album was also really good, maybe we get some strong music from this.

If there's a song coming our way in the coming weeks, that will really seal the deal (considering it took what, 2 years for "Up All Night" to release).

 

I definitely hope they learned their lesson the first time and have been recording for a while now. Would love a new song with the announcement

 

The whole “Tom wants money” thing is so bizarre to me. I’m sure him, Mark, and Travis all want money (I mean, come on - even without Tom, this band was treated like a brand). That doesn’t mean they’re not also in it to create and have a good time.

 

Finishing TOPAJ. It’s perfect eternal youth pop punk. It’s been a long time, but this record is perfect for what it set out to do .

I would be okay if they never release a song about being young and parents not understanding again. I hope they lean into adult and mature themes. The outro to Feeling This “fate fell short” evokes this feeling of summer and youth without smashing you over the head with adolescent themes.

Keep the legacy songs around forever but push forward.

 

TTS stock starts at a minimum investment of $750. I doubt most Tom/blink fans are dropping that much to support Tom.

 

I remember when fallout boy came back there seemed to be a lot of “that’s how blink should have done it” talk. For those of you who dont remember fall out boy dropped a single out of nowhere and then an album, which were both huge. Im hoping blink took notes.

 

Also pretty sure Tom personally isn’t losing any money. He’s just loaning TTS money and then getting paid back on a schedule with interest.

 

Ok maybe I’m reaching here BUT first Tom posted a picture of himself in an MLB hat, and then just now posted a picture of the Mets. It just feeds more into my theory that they’ll be playing baseball stadiums in select cities, like Citi Field (Met’s stadium).

I was at the Fall Out Boy reunion show at the subterranean in Chicago. It was a top 5 music highlight for sure. Would love blink coming back with that level of hype and celebration.

Tom fans and TTS investors is a circle lol. Gonna guess it's a miniscule percentage of non-blink fans that got roped into that "opportunity"
