Again, this is where, even if WWE didnt have someone doing longterm creative, I trust Bray to nail the initial story. The White Rabbit was clearly teasing a ton of Fiend stuff, and some of it was a literal episode to episode chase, but, he can also easily pay off the "quest for knowledge" stuff if he's going back to a version of Swamp Bray or something like it. The Fiend was clearly two parts of his personality he toyed with

 

honestly now I'm kinda hoping for a 3 Faces of Foley thing here haha

Kinda cant disagree more because if AEW wanted to, they actually have in Malakai or Penta the kind of long-term built characters that absolutely could do something that big. But AEW isnt really structured that way.

Though, a huge part of Brays appeal right now is the biggest company failing him so many times, and HHH paying it off, and if he ran this exact same thing in AEW, I dont think we'd get that

 

I should re-phrase - story wise AEW could pull it off

I just don't think they could do the elaborate teasing or give the same production value as WWE can at the moment

 

You can really see how screwed up Vince was with all this now.

HHH was probably way more willing than anyone else to give him complete control of this character/how to debut it

During his Helwani interview he said Bray had the craziest creative mind he’s ever been around

I don’t hate that but I really think they’re going to take Bray the way of how Undertaker was mostly booked and completely keep him away from the title.

You could argue having him in the title scene before hurt him more than it helped him.

 

Best they can do is giant catchphrase on the back and obnoxiously large “authentic WWE wear” tag on the bottom

 

Or a reference to all his old iterations

Duke Rotundo, Husky Harris, Axl Mulligan, Bray Wyatt, The Fiend, and now his 6th iteration

 

doesn't have to involve the title - I just want this version of Reigns against this version of Wyatt

could be Bray preying on Roman's insecurity after losing the title at Mania

In HHH's favor is that he basically did this with Aleister until he couldnt. He had the Dream, Cole and Gargano feuds without the title involved.

This is weirdly also the case where Roman/The Bloodline clearly having their own thing going and having no use of Bray for months is good news.

 

Yeah a bray Roman feud should be SummerSlam 2023 at the earliest
