Thats not even touching on how the Ass Boys were named ("well, you see, there's this ghoul of a man who misnames people...and he created a theme song"), how the Gunns turned heel ALONG WITH Billy Gunn before he turned back, etc. It was kind of a wild mish-mash that clicked.

Also, we're only just over a year on from Max Caster getting suspended for that Simone Biles/Duke/PCR Test/Julia rap, which is even wilder.

 

This will probably be the norm for AEW going forward, they are maybe doing 50% ticket sales right now on all the 4-5k person venues, and I know they cant sell out the DC/Baltimore venues what WWE runs when they come through.

Also, this is the 4th time in less than a year (5th if you count tomorrows show) that they'll have been within 30mins of DC in the last year.

aew's ticket sales aren't doing too hot right now but the ratings are at least staying steady. they did i wanna say 1.4 million this week

 

Talk about someone with meaningful ROH affiliation should that get off the ground. With no disrespect to their most recent commentators, whose cameos I've liked on AEW, Nigel is who I always think of.

 

can't wait for saraya vs britt, a feud that will probably (definitely) never end

for all the love barrett is getting for being paired up with cole, cole/mcguiness in the uk tournament special was something to behold.

 

I would absolutely love if Barrett got to do some Bad News segments again but that obviously won’t happen.

 

When Pat McAfee went to do that american football thing, I was preying that Trips would bring him in. Ah well.

Reading the WON, so Cormier for now is signed to a one time deal with WWE but he said himself he wants to see how this goes and can see future spots.

Meltz brought up Lesnar/Cormier, I forgot they had that spot a few years ago after Cormier won a fight in UFC and Brock came in the octagon and pushed him to tease a fight (It was a total work, they are good friends) BUT getting Cormier and Brock to feud/work a match in WWE would be absolutely fucking amazing. Really hope Cormier sticks around and does things for the big shows.

 

Lesnar/Cormier would be a fantastic WM feud and everything WWE could ask for with celebrity involvement. It’s something that would need to be done ASAP as both are getting old.
