you cant really form any opinion on that trailer other than "this is going to look amazing". i am confident it will be funny, hopes are high that it is actually good because i feel like theres SO much you can do with the mario-verse.

 

I… don’t hate it. Can’t wait to catch this on Peacock in like June

 

Everything looks and sounds good except Pratt's voice acting. Why was he struggling to introduce the trailer lol "I spent so much time.... STOMPING.... koopas" then cut to Jack Black who is such a pro at these types of things

 

like, i would love for this to be good so that we can get maybe a new Donkey Kong show.

 

Visually stunning, don’t care for the voices (even Bowser seems lacking)

give Mario back his ass

 

A Yoshi movie where he only says yum and a dialog free Kirby movie

 

Shy Guy origin story

 

Legitimately it would be easy and make sense to make a Mario movie where he doesn’t talk outside of his “wa-hoo’s” etc. Let all the other characters talk

or cast somebody other than “most boring man on the planet, bag of skimmilk who thinks he’s actually a US soldier at this point” Chris Pratt

 

Now that we have a taste of Pratt’s Mario, we need the next trailer to give us the thing we should actually care about. Donkey Kong doing the Rogen laugh

 

Truly don't care about the voices. Let 'er rip, baby.

Trailer looked good, def interested in it.

 

The animation in this is gorgeous. Loved the penguins.

The possibilities in this world seem endless, especially if it leads to Luigi’s Mansion.

Surprised there is still no word on Yoshi. Maybe they’re saving him for the sequel with Danny DeVito as Wario

 

Mario voice notwithstanding the rest of this looks amazing. Love the art direction.

 

Looks visually great. Pratt’s voice is very bad.

 

It's definitely wacky that they'd have pratt just do his normal voice.

 

Really like that gave the scenes space in this trailer! And the lack of score into the title was pretty “epic” feeling

animation might be one of the best looking things Illumination studios has done, wow
