Going to my first AEW live event next month

 

i went to one in 2019 that was pretty fun

 

the show last night was very fun

based on the live crowd, the acclaimed are the most over act in the company right now and nobody is close. the amount of fan made scissors in the crowd reminded me of the attitude era

i left right before the main event because parking was a shit show, but glad i didn't miss much

It was very small. It wasn’t the AU arena, it was the Entertainment and Sports arena which is where the Wizards practice. It was only floor and mostly 100 level seats, with a 200 level above just one side. They probably fit 3-4k in there

I started getting back into it because my wife was channel surfing & settled on Raw. We needed our garbage TV fix during hockey offseason. I’ve also been rewatching the year 2000 and she despises Kurt Angle whenever he’s on.
