They were awesome tonight, not sure what the past shows were like but the complaints weren’t justified at all based off that show. The banter can get a little extended but it makes for a more personal experience and has never bothered me.

 

They were great in Detroit and the banter had the crowd laughing

He took it, immediately dismissed playing the actual song, then just started talking about Kirsten Dunst, haha.

I think it’s the only AS song I haven’t heard live, and I didn’t really expect them to suddenly bust it out, but hey if you never try…

 

Huh, don't get why they wouldn't play it! Song is a banger. Funny that he had some thoughts on your sign, though.

 

Think he even said “I’ll never play that song” so it might be a personal thing? Either way a fantastic attempt, my friends and I were dying when we realized it was the movie poster lol.

 

My favorite part of the whole thing was him going: "Is that the one where the girl from from My Name Is Early says 'It's already been broughten?'"

 

Nothing from sink or swim makes me sad.

 

Typically I'd be bummed about no Sink or Swim songs, but there was this homophobic asshole in the pit that wouldn't stop screaming "Sink or Swim" and "We Came to Dance" for a large part of last night, so I was more than happy that guy didn't get what he wanted.

 

How do we feel about tone downed Rollin’ and Tumbling?

 

I would prefer it more upbeat since it’s a banger, but was extremely excited to be able to finally hear it live in any capacity!!!

Sounds excellent. I like it both ways. But I would also probably enjoy Brian singing Facebook's terms and conditions over some tender guitar playing, so.

 

I love when they do that, i remember seeing them whip out an extremely different slower version of Great Expectations years back. I may actually prefer this slower version of Rollin’.

 

I was just happy to hear it in any capacity. I like when they change songs up, keeps things fresh.

 

Seems like they played it again in DC -- I like Rollin & Tumblin as this tour's version of "slowed down banger" which they did with Great Expectations for a while in 2014-2015.

Not to defend the guy at all because WTF , but I think maybe he's trying to say that he's being blunt because he is an autistic asshole ? Which could be him thinking that gave him the bona fides to call Brian autistic and also criticize the banter , which is still completely insane but less directly him being a dick. At least I hope so , but either way , yikes.

 

is there context to why this guy is calling brian out?

 

Probably mad about setlists/how much Brian is talking.
