AFI (A Fire Inside) is an American rock band from Ukiah, California, formed in 1991. They have had the same lineup since 1998: lead vocalist Davey Havok, drummer and backup vocalist Adam Carson, with bassist Hunter Burgan and guitarist Jade Puget, who both play keyboard and contribute backup vocals. Of the current lineup, Havok and Carson are the two remaining original members.

I'm curious to see a follow up on Burials... I hated Crash Love so bad, and haven't loved anything since Sing The Sorrow. But I did like Burials alright.

Blaqk Audio, Davey's new project with the No Doubt members and then AFI recording. What a busy year for him!

Grew up loving this band. I can probably credit them with introducing me to punk music.

I never understood that. I'd get tired of having to post in patterns of 3. And if I like the entire picture, which square do I "like?"
    Definitely looks cool, though.

I agree! Seeing them at Riot Fest back in '13 was insane and the crowd was great. This band has so much fucking energy!!!

btw, love your username. always been one of my favorite AFI songs.

I'm not sure if they're still lifetime memberships but it's actually pretty cool. Definitely the best fanclub I've ever been in (even if I never really used it aside from getting in first at shows) haha

and AFI fans are so passionate! I feel like even if you don't join, you're still an honorary member

I'd give Torch Song, We've Got The Knife, Rewind, and 17 Crimes all listens. The b-sides from Crash Love are better than almost anything on the actual album, but Burials is pretty solid all the way through if you cut out Heart Stops.

I've been listening to this band for 13 years and it's ridiculous. I'll always have a place for them and I'm interested to see what they bring after Burials.

I like it if I listen in isolation but it interrupts the heavily layered feel that basically every other song has. Like, it just feels so empty and for me it doesn't go with the rest of the album. But I'll admit it's catchy as hell and I sing along if it's on
