Excited for the return of the main show next Sunday, and that AMC+ will have two new episodes available then.

 

If they do revisit old characters on Tales, I wouldn’t mind getting something on Edwin Jenner and TS-19

 

Legit had no idea this was returning tonight. Absolutely zero hype going into the final 8 episodes.

Also…what is this bonus episode on at 8 pm?

 

It's been a wild ride. Love or hate the show I've been watching the whole time so I'm excited to see the end.

Also no idea what that bonus episode is....

 

I enjoy these first 2 episodes back, but they remind me of the last 2 seasons of Game of Thrones where the time it should take to travel long distances is all but disregarded.

 

I assume the bonus episode is just the same episode as what ended the lats string of 8 episodes, but with some deleted scenes added back in or something

Chandler posted about TWD on his instagram and said that he'll have more to say in a few weeks. I think he might be appearing in either a flashback in season 11 or the Rick show.

 

To not end this series with a bang after 11 years would be super disappointing. Like, they can't just have a moderate ending and then expect fans to continue on with the story to find out what happens with the 12 different spinoffs they're planning.

It'd be a real slap in the face to fans who (stubbornly) stuck this out for a decade plus.

 

I've been watching since day 1, and will absolutely finish. My excitement for the show has dropped significantly, but at this point I have to see it through.

 

Gonna end it with a cliffhanger on whether or not Daryl dies

 

That has been my stance for a while as well, but the fact that they changed the Final scene of the series makes me think (as the writer points out in the link above) nothing that 'final' or serious will occur and fans will be left to determine what happens with all the major characters/storyline across all the spin-offs planned, which would be super maddening.

 

Finale is gonna be Rick waking up from his coma.

 

I wouldn't hate that.

 

Gonna be a St. Elsewhere ending

 

Gonna wake up as Shane is trying to get him out of the hospital, and boom the TWD multiverse is born.

 

Finally watched the new episode last night, and honestly was soooo lost. I barely remember anything from the prior 16 episodes this season. It's all just became one big blur.

 

That basically the last 4 season for me hahah

 

Last few episodes have been good. Now sure how the last 3 episodes will play out but it’s looking like it will be different from the comic.

 

I still haven't watched anything past the first episode of this batch...

The Commonwealth storyline has dragged on way too long and I don’t know how it gets wrapped up with 2 episodes left?

 

I have a feeling Negan will sacrifice himself for them to get out of the camp, which will be bs.

We know Daryl and Carol will be fine due to the show that was announced (although Melissa dropped out due to the location).

 

Negan and Maggie have a spin off as well.

 

The spin-offs have completely soured me from even wanting to watch these final 7 episodes. Like, I know nothing is going to happen to them, or even have closure, so what the fuck is the point?

 

I figured this as much five years ago lol
