Depends on who it is. Killers/PATD/Florence & The Machine I wouldn't scoff at tickets coming out to $150-170 for GA. Stuff like Bruce Springsteen, on the other hand, I'd expert $300 to be the start.

Thy Art Is Murder seem to heavily be implying some Hate anniversary shows.

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

I misread this and thought they were gonna do a 342-date tour and my jaw dropped

Between Chicago, Joliet, and Milwaukee that tour has like 10 stops

STYG’s merch guy told me that Foreign Hands is going to be jumping on that Counterparts/Dying Wish/SeeYouSpaceCowboy tour. They just had to wait for that STYG tour to be over to announce it.

Is Ed Sheehan still white people magic? I know he’s had some massive records but wasn’t sure if he still had the same momentum.

Not listening to Top 40/Adult AC radio makes me forget how big some of these artists are. Assuming this is stadiums?

The guy has 3 songs with over a billion streams and one approaching a billion. Two of those have 2 and 3 billion. No one else is touching that

Those seem like large venues for an acoustic tour.

Yeah I’d expect a few weeks after tickets go on sale they move to smaller venues and try to play it off as “we wanted to give you a more intimate experience!” and it will not be convincing in the least

I was surprised that Paramore announced they are playing the Chicago Theatre so ADTR playing there caught me off guard

Looks like they want to get their headline dates out there before they announce supplementary North American festival appearances, if they are doing any.

Weird thing is, looks like they're hitting markets that would be covered by radius clauses for Lolla, Bonnaroo, Coachella, Osheaga, Gov Ball, Shaky Knees, ACL, and Outside Lands. So maybe they're just going to go the headline route this cycle.

Arctic Monkeys probably just has a lot of commitments up through Aug 2023. Also, I can't imagine a lot of European/UK acts like touring North America in Jan/Feb.

So I went to see STYG last week and when I was leaving the venue handed me free tickets to see Russian Circles a few days later. So I went to the Russian Circles show and when I was leaving, got handed a pair of tickets for Batushka. Went to the Batushka show last night and on the way out got handed a pair of tickets for Gruesome this week, and Gwar next week.

I'm loving it, but obviously these (smaller) tours aren't selling well.
