I think this is probably true as well, although it really depends on continued arms supplies from the West. If the HIMARS keep flowing and flowing, they're just going to keep decimating whatever tanks, ammo dumps, and trucks/machines that Russia keeps trying to send towards the front. I think by next Spring Russia is going to have a very serious shortage of vehicles to just move shit and people around; it's going to be a very immobile fighting force, which the Ukrainians will continue to pick off and destroy in large quantities

 

I honestly don't know how anyone could credibly argue that the US isn't the world's biggest bully in 2022. As I mentioned previously, the US has around 750 military bases in at least 80 countries worldwide and spends more on its military than the next 10 countries combined. Just the 2003 invasion of Iraq alone that killed up to a million people and caused endless misery for millions more is enough justification to award them the title of the biggest and most bloodthirsty imperialist nation that exists today. And that's not getting into all the other invasions, US-backed coups, massacres, political and economic support of right-wing dictatorships, etc etc. I could go on and on for days.

Although the optics are bad, most likely it's to keep good with them in order to potentially get weapons from them in the future, to ensure they maybe help the country out once Russia is eventually kicked all the way out

Its ok for now, apparently; to me he’s just budding up to her to ensure continued support for his country. I’m not saying it’s a good decision, but I can see why he’s doing it. It’s a slippery slope
