I love Bulletstorm and Gears: Judgement (despite all the hate it gets)
I even really enjoyed Outriders.

 

Can't wait to check out this game. GamePass today!

 

I also didn’t know this had an arachnophobia safe mode (changes the look of the spider to accommodate), very interesting accessibility feature.

 

Outriders was okay, great gameplay but really repetitive level design and a nothing story

 

This puts a smile on my face.

Player's Log: Immortals Fenyx Rising.

Boy is it fun to be back in this game. I hadn't played in months, and it showed, haha. Got owned by a couple of gorgons pretty immediately. But once I got the hang of things again I was off and running.

I'm currently working on freeing Hephaestus, which will be the third god for me. I spent most of last night clearing out the Forge. Those automatons are tough. The waterwheel puzzles are fun. Got sidetracked on an island, but after about 30 attempts I beat The Test of Heracles, which I'm very proud of. Should wrap up this area in the next couple days and move on to the next.

 

i played on easy the entire way through and did die a few times tbh you still have to pay attention and know what youre doing but once you get over that learning curve its not so bad. im more used to turn based so real time with pause took some getting used to but its fun in its own way even if i still prefer turn based and will be playing deadfire that way. i played a wizard and absolutely loved it, so many different spells and ways to build your character out even within the classes. my only real problem is that friendly AI pathing was abysmal, party members would frequently get stuck or stop attacking and id have to manually move them or reengage them.

 

Can't wait to share my love for this game through this tv show. None of my friends play video games, so it will be exciting to see their reactions. Looks super faithful to the game as I can place every scene (I think). So excited!

Still highly obsessed with multiversus. Rick dropped today, plays slightly like Morty but still a lot of fun.

 

Players Log: Started Moonscars. It’s pretty damn tough. It’s like Dead Cells meets Dark Souls.

alright my friends we are WELL underway in Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire, i just got to the part where the governor of the first village agrees to help repair your ship. super, super stoked to see aloth and eder return as companions. as for myself, i stayed with the nature godwoken race i was in the first game, however i have decided to play an arcanist druid this time as opposed to a wizard. now, i said earlier i would be playing on turn based mode, however after looking up feedback most everyone suggested to do your first run on real time with pause as that was how the game was designed, turn based was only patched in later and is not as fully fleshed out even if it is fun to mess around with its not the most authentic way to experience the original vision, so im gonna do real time with pause on my first go. tbh im already itching to play the first game again so i imagine ill be doing multiple runs here as well. anyway, huge step up graphically speaking here seems more in line with tyranny the way things are a bit smoother around the edges while still retaining the unique style of pillars 1. normally im not too huge on tropical settings in video games, i mean its alright but done to death, however with a fantasy backdrop its pretty interesting and immersive so far. again, loving the worldbuilding and lore, i expect nothing but great things in that regard, but it looks like im sucked right back in because i cannot get myself to log off and go to bed yet lol.
