Anyone following the twitch drama? I only know about it through tiktoks that've popped up on my fyp. Slick is accused of sexual assault, Mizkif is accused of covering it up, Emiru defends Mizkif, Bonbibonkers says Emiru is best friends with someone who sexually harassed Bon. I follow Bonbi and Emiru on tiktok where they mostly post cosplays, I've seen clips of Mizkif streams on my fyp, and I have no idea who Slick is.

 

I don't think I've ever heard of any of these people haha.

I actually have haha, well I watched one video of a guy breaking it down, Mizkif rubs me the wrong way, plus the major clique mentality is so lame for a bunch of people who seem to be at least in their mid 20’s.

 

I heard about the gambling addict who scammed nearly 400k from people on twitch. Streamers and his followers. CRAZY.

Got Octopath Traveler on Steam and it looks beautiful on the deck, I keep over thinking about how i'm going to play, like if I want to get 4 characters or 8 characters to play at the same time. Prob just gonna do all 8 at the same time rather than 4 and 4.

 

Does Steam Deck use your pre existing library?

 

Yup! Some games may not be very compatible though

 

I may have asked before but I can’t remember so I’m doing it now. How is the PS5 Pulse 3D headset? Thinking about buying one soon.

 

I like it. No issues and works well with the controller. Especially on a game like Returnal.

my only problem is just a personal problem but I got to speak a little louder for the mic to hear wearing the pulse headset which sucks for me

 

I know this isn’t really the anime portion but like Netflix and CD Project Red did a great job at getting Studio Trigger to do it. I don’t think this revival would have been as good if they got any other studio to do it.

I don’t really do much online multiplayer so it wouldn’t be for that. I’m currently in one bedroom apartment with my girlfriend and the TVs are against the same wall on opposite sides lol. Wanting to be able to hear without her yelling at me for having it up to loud. Currently playing TLOU2 so it’s either too quite or too loud lmao.

 

I usually just do all the first chapters of each character and rotate out a 4th character (usually whoever's chapter I'm on) while keeping a core 3 characters. Sometimes I'll rotate two in if they're lower leveled. Then I'll do the same for all the second chapters, and third, etc

 

Player's Log: I heard The Whispered World. 100%.

This... was fine. Maybe it's because I'd been sitting on the game for so long and because I'd heard good things a long time ago when it came out, but I was actually kind of underwhelmed by the ending.

It doesn't help that Sadwick continues to be audibly irritating to listen to, but then they try for a twist ending that's really a big swing that doesn't feel foreshadowed or deserved, really. It feels like a cop out.

Anyway, there is a sequel, Silence, but it's unclear how it actually links up with The Whispered World, if at all, and the reviews for Silence are a little less positive. I plan to get to Silence eventually, but I might not do it just yet.

Instead, I think I'm going to play a game called Leaves: The Journey. It's another point and click, more in the "find the object" vein. There's also a sequel to it called Leaves: The Return.

 

Player's Log: Leaves. 100%.

Pretty short game, as well it should be, since one of the achievements is to beat it in one sitting. It reminds me very much of Amanita Design's games, like Samorost and the like.

I'm gonna beat the sequel too now, since it's equally short. And then I think the next game I tackle will be The Last Tinker: City of Colors. It's a platformer game that I've had for a long while and never even gave a shot. Well, I'm going to give it that shot.
