It's crazy to think we were without Kane, Rose, Dier and Dembele and we looked pretty good. I know it was an inferior opponent but if we had to go into a PL game without those 4 last season it would've been a shit show.

 

Ya I was pretty nervous going into it. What did you think of our penalty shouts? I think the Dele one could have been given but I wasn't outraged it wasn't. The Son one in the second half seemed obvious to me. Pretty annoyed the clean sheet was ruined by a preposterous no-call.

Next week should be very interesting with a CL match we probably need a result in and the City on the weekend.

 

I thought they were both clear penalties. Both were by a defender trailing our guy and not even making a play on the ball.

It'll be interesting to see how Poch rotates the players this week. If we need blow the first CL match I think it'd be an easy decision to rest Dier, Dembele, and Rose until next weekend. But with it being a must-win I don't know how he'll approach it.

I had someone explain the ending of that thing to me and it sounded horrendous in maybe the best way.

How does it work? Is your guy locked into looking like that actor and playing for United?
The presentation at E3 was pretty hilarious/corny so I figured as much it would be goofy.

 

It actually starts off pretty cool. You're released from a club and you have to do exit trials so you play two 45 minute 11v11's then a bunch of the skills training and you have to come in the top ten and you're offered a deal by a club. I came first so all 20 premier league clubs wanted to sign him. Idk I'd your performance affects that but I think it might.

Then you sign for a club and do some club training before going on pre season. You get subbed in and try hit some performance markers given by the boss. They're harder or easier depending on what club you sign for. Then it's just playing more games, subbing in, maybe starting trying to make an impression. You do after game interviews and such. There's a story with the guys family and agent and stuff too.

You have to be Alex Hunter though, always the one guy.

 

I didn't know what that mode would be so I made my guy white. It was awkward.

I'm really glad that after the whole summer of the English press saying how amazing West Ham are and how they're now a huge club, that they're actually fucking shite.
