The first one still had at least half an album of strong, memorable songs. Everything got so faceless after that.

Well since “Iris” is the greatest song of all time, I would vociferously disagree

Alright, fair play, Third Eye Blind is actually a much more sensible choice.

Still don't agree with Matchbox Twenty though, it's not like they're super experimental with their sound.

One song and arguably one album isn't enough here

I mean, they have a lot more than one album, not sure where you're going with this... [/willful ignorance of negative opinions]

I love about half of each of those first two. Don’t know what happened after that, especially since he still had some juice left for North.

The Worst In Me from his latest solo album is pretty solid, I liked the single too

Says a man who does not properly appreciate Superstar Car Wash or Gutterflower, which are excellent

Yeah, “The Worst in Me” was by far my favorite. Butch Walker with some cool, tasteful guitar!

I’ve honestly never understood how Superstar Car Wash isn’t bigger on this site given some of the albums that are beloved that it fits in nicely with

Jimmy Eat World is an ok pop-rock band with one great album and a handful of very good songs

Truth Is A Whisper. For singles I'm partial to Black Balloon and Big Machine.

"Black Balloon" is typically my go-to favorite Goos song, but I've been really into the 1-2 punch of "Big Machine" and "Think About Me" at the top of Gutterflower as of late.

My #1 is pretty obvious so I’ll say my #2 which is “Acoustic #3”. The platonic ideal of a short song
