Haha I was mostly kidding. I do tend to like the comedy work of Cena though.

 

Shit, I didn’t realize the main characters would be a gay couple. That’s pretty cool representation, especially with the horror/suspense genre and Shyamalan’s name recognition at the helm. Trailer surprised me and I’m in.

I'm definitely intrigued. Didn't love Old, but Shyamalan at least always tries to do something interesting.

 

Cena is fun but Dave is legitimately good. Cena isn't popping up in Blade Runner haha

 

Unsure if I should read the book first (I loved A Head Full Of Ghosts by the same author) or go in blind for the full M Night experience

 

I am currently halfway through the book (The Cabin at the End of the World) and it's great so far. Avoiding the trailer until I finish!

 

Really hated Old, but of course I'll see this. Bautista rules

 

Jarin Blaschke is the cinematographer for this. His recent work includes The VVitch, The Lighthouse, and The Northman. It looks like he's also done some generic movies I've never heard of, so I hope he brings some of the magic to this that he brought to those Robert Eggers movies.

 

Anyone read the book?
