Only about halfway through, and I love tyft, but this is extremely fucking good. Pepper is absolutely legendary

The mid-section is where this really gets me. The five song run from “Here to Forever” to “Wheat Like Waves” is superb.

Foxglove and Wheat are my one-two right now. Pepper rules too. Really impressed with the whole thing tbh. Have been spinning it all day long

This is very easily their best since Narrow Stairs. Wow.

Listened to a little bit of this today and while I know I need to fully listen to it from start to finish and give it more time but... I really enjoyed it. Moreso than a lot of their most recent records

    V, v, v great so far

I think the first 2 tracks and foxglove are probably my favorites.

This is absolutely going to be my go-to album this fall, much in the same way Surviving was a few years ago.

What a treat this album is. I've enjoyed the last two records but I still figured the band wouldn't resonate with me like they did even 5 year ago, and that was okay.

But damn did they rope me back in. This rules.

John Congleton really helps bring the adventurous nature out of artists

Yesterday was Prada day for me so I just finished listening to this record this morning and wow.

This is not what I was expecting but I mean that in the best ways possible. This is definitely their most exciting work in quite some time (IMO) and that’s saying a lot since I’ve loved their previous records.

Good on them for changing things up. Can’t wait for my vinyl to arrive!

This is my standout track at the moment. But damn this whole album is hitting me hard.

Hearing this for the first time made me so happy. They crushed it. I’ve heard a lot of “this is their best since Narrow Stairs” but my hot take is it might be their best since Plans. I knew they had another genuinely great album in them and I’m so glad to be proven right.

I like this but honestly can't fathom liking it more than Narrow Stairs haha.

I'm glad so many people are loving it though! I enjoyed it more on second listen but still find some of Ben's melodies a bit awkward these days. I do really like what they're doing musically all over this though, great direction.

I definitely don’t think there’s anything on here that could touch Cath… or Bixby but I’ve always thought NS is a little bit inconsistent. Still love it though and even if I like AM more, it’s going to be close between them.

Only gotten two listens in but I loved this. I'm so impressed with how Jason McGerr continues to search for new ways to play the right thing. Seriously underrated musician

Yeah it's cool, I'm glad to see late Death Cab getting so much love. I just love all of Narrow Stairs so much haha, it's hard for any of these songs to touch most of that album for me yet.

If I end up liking this as much as Kintsugi I'd be really happy, I'll just have to spend some time with it and see how it grows on me.

First three tracks are dope. Two other good ones. Album as a whole is big meh though. Seems like TYFT was a fluke

I fell off with Death Cab after Narrow Stairs, and really felt nothing after Transatlanticism compared. Listened to only a few songs here and there since.
Decided to give this a spin and am absolutely amazed by the quality. What a record!
