I like this overall but nothing's doing that much for me. I think the title track was easily my favourite. I think I probably like it a little less on first listen than their last one.

  2. where the hell did they pull Foxglove Through the Clearcut from, this is AMAZING

  3. Haha the title track was the only one I didn’t love. Stoked to listen to this on repeat today.

  4. yeah this is the best album they've done since Narrow Stairs

Loved it on my first listen at night, I'll put it back on speakers later today.

That's a beautiful verse you've got done over here hahah, yeah, though I'm calling bullshit as for the og alleged lyrical offense, there's nothing wrong with those lines.

  6. This album is nuts lol you guys weren't kidding about the opener. "I Miss Strangers" is so good. Looking forward to chewing on this one for a while. I love TYFT, but that album feels like a safe bet for them and this kinda feels like the opposite. Cool stuff. Great guitar and synth tones.

  7. Haven't seen anyone mention "Wheat Like Waves" yet, this track is so pleasant. Gonna be a great winter listen.

  8. "I'll Never Give Up on You" also whips. Album is very good!

Glad they still have yet to miss on releasing a killer opening track

I’m stunned that the song that was loosely described as the “spoken word track” is my absolute favorite. Has a lot of the same spirit of Blue Bloods. What an ourtro

So well written. I feel like I’m a silent passenger in the backseat of this trip that these old friends are taking

Been awhile since I identified w a “new” DCFC track as immediately & completely as I do now with “I’ll Never Give Up on You”

I avoided listening to Foxglove until release day, what a goddamn pleasure (both that song and the whole album)!

    No Fun. Not Ever.

I think I only checked out the first single they put out. Listening right now and goddamn this is pretty good.

Guess what, this album is sick! First listen was exactly what I needed after a miserable week. Have quite a few things to check out today but I am going to be wearing this one out. EOTY here we come!

pretty sure I said "oh shit" to myself no less than three times on my first listen. wild to say for a DCFC LP this late in their career.

  24. Are they working with a new producer on this one? Why does it seem like they’re so rejuvenated all of a sudden? I haven’t really liked anything they’ve put out since Plans probably. It’s all been kinda “yeah that’s death cab doing death cab.”

Everyone here is getting me so stoked to listen to this. I haven't really connected with a Death Cab album since Narrow Stairs, so I'm cautiously optimistic.
