Not to rub it in, but I got my translucent red from BrooklynVegan yesterday and it's glorious.

This is definitely an AOTY contender for me. Currently it's right behind Caracara at number 2.

 

Can confirm. Enjoyed listen two much more in the dark, just lying on the floor.

 

I listened to this hungover in the dark under the covers on Sunday and it was incredible

 

I actually just read that it's a reference to Jeff Buckley

 

Been listening a lot more lately and “Mouth” is really resonating. Lyrics seem to hit right now.

“They never let you forget”

 

For all guitar nerds out there, chad just posted some written out tabs of songs from the tour on his Instagram stories. Genevieve, mouth, Skiv, the days, hate chase and Buckley are shown. Pretty cool

Thanks! @Brodobaggins34 has sent me some of those too, thank you guys! I probably won't be able to learn full songs, but it's cool to catch a glimpse at what is the general idea for the guitar, pretty interesting. The album also really benefits from the bass work over there, truth be told - should get some credit for that

New album slays live

 

I don’t still don’t know what to make of the new album.

 

This is my favorite of theirs at this point

 

It’s incredible

 

Hits really nicely in the evening with a fire going.

 

Yeah this album is fantastic

 

it’s great, they’re all great.

 

It hits a little harder live
Drummer plays it closer to keep you era during the songs climax.

the amount of looping guitar / vocals was very cool to see live.

 

As great as David is on record, he takes the drums to an entirely different level live

 

First and only time I saw them was right after The Lack Long After came out and I was fixated on the drums their entire set

 

Davis uploaded videos to his YouTube channel of him playing almost every song from that album in a studio if you wanna watch him play some more
