It’s definitely useful because some of it gets super confusing by the 3rd season.

Sorry, to go back a few pages, but weekly has huge advantages for new shows, as people are more likely to commit an hour a week to see if a show picks up and gets good, than binge a whole season at once that they're not really feeling. It's also so much easier to convince someone else to watch it if they are only a few behind vs asking them to commit 8 hours to it. Not every single show blasts out the gates and gets everyone in an hour. Severance is a prime example of the weekly doing wonders for viewership and content.

But to contradict myself, the bear dropped all at once and that skyrocketed quickly.

I guess the type of show matters? A good mystery show that's meant to be theorized on should be weekly (but as someone else said - most theories are like 'omg! I saw this behind the scenes photo on instagram of this location so this is probably going to happen' and that's not the same as using show only clues).

I think "The Bear" being a basically a half hour show also helps.

Yeah being able to watch the beer in one night if you really wanted to helped a lot.

Also Amazon's marketing on Paper Girls was dogshit too, suffered from being released around the same time as they were marketing LOTR and League of Their Own.

Starting American Gigolo. This is getting goddawful reviews, but Bernthal's performances don't miss even if what he's in is bad.

It was basically non existent. I don't even know how I found out about it, but I'm sure it was solely because of an online ad that was targeted to me through similar content/comics (aka something extremely specific vs Amazon shouting out about a new show).
I have a few episodes left of Paper girls but I really enjoyed it. The slow pacing and character development was excellent. Slow isn't always a dirty word for shows.

Maybe I'll check it out then. From the trailers it kind of just seemed like a zoomer take on both Election and Rushmore.
