The Black Dahlia Murder announced a memorial show for Trevor in Detroit on Oct 28th. they will continue touring as well, with Brian one of their guitarists moving to full time vocals, & Ryan knight is rejoining the band. BE9A4A89-2B2E-4E7F-B77E-991A6FED4680.jpeg

The venue in Chicago is smaller compared to the one they were playing in April. Not sure if the whole tour is also on smaller venues in comparisson

It’s gonna be really hard to skip this SF tour knowing Moths is part of it. Ugh.

There definitely could be, but I have a feeling we’ll see a lot more of bands/artists touring in North America in the first half of ‘23. With the possible energy crisis in Europe this winter, more bands might opt to tour in North America and not overseas.

I really feel like the whole "too many tours" thing would be helped if we brought back more of those festivals akin to a Mayhem Fest or Uproar or something in the same vain for other genres. I know it's only a solution for in the States and only for the summer (though I think HOB size events would work well in the winter as well). Why make people choose between two similar tours sound wise when you could work together and combine them for something bigger?

maybe all the good bands should tour and all the bad bands should stay home

Also, there are LOTS of tours that I've skipped out on because there's only one band I really wanted to see, or I was interested in going, but not enough to pay $30-40+ for a ticket. Also lots of smaller shows I've seen recently have been pretty poorly attended. Package 2 or 3 of these smallers tours together, I think you get a bigger overall draw and can charge more for tickets.

this is always one of the weirdest weeks in Knoxville. working downtown you see the most fascinating people since it's not really run like a normal festival.

that U.S. headlining tour this past year seemed drastically undersold in a handful of markets, in LA in particular it was disappointingly sparse. Show was great, though, of course.

it's because it was the same weekend as knocked loose/movements, the menzingers, and Coachella. that whole week was ridiculously full of shows

Yeah most the shows I’ve been to recently have been sold out or super packed.

  21. fuuuuuuuck wish this was gonna go somewhere besides west coast

saw them at a like 100-cap venue between that album and foundations of burden (bell witch opening then too actually) and I swear it's the loudest show I'll ever go to in my life lol
