This is the funniest thing I have seen in a long time. The narrator guy saying "a town with an airport, three golf courses and some horses" fucking killed me.

 

so ive had a couple days living completely on my own in a place that, for all intents and purposes, is completely and totally mine. yes its in my parents name but they paid in cash, there is no mortgage, and they told me to consider it my own. again i know this is as privileged as it gets, without this support i would as ive said not be alive right now. but whats really striking to me at this moment again after a couple nights here is how much better i feel mentally living in a clean, comfortable, safe space that i can call my own. after years of renting from landlords in extremely run down, small apartments, its really dawning on me how low key emotionally traumatic it is to rent from what are essentially slumlords but any land lord - tenant relationship. i never felt fully welcome in my own apartment, i loathed running into someone (especially because my land lords son lived in the building and the land lords themselves lived down the street and the husband acted as property manager/maintenance). i didnt make much money and was often behind on rent and was frequently abusing hard drugs so i always felt like they would be out to get me for whatever reason which just spiraled my mental well being because again i did not feel welcome or like i truly belonged at the place i lived because these people have power over me to oust me whenever they want, even in times when i was sober. having that layer of anxiety lifted from my life feels liberating, thats the only way i can describe it. fuck landlords.

 

I cannot believe I never came across this.

 

One week into pre-school and my kid has already been directly exposed to a positive case today in morning care. Sigh. A nice anxiety filled 7-14 days ahead.

Did they invite Obama anyways? Like I feel like it's probably a bad idea -- inviting Obama but not Trump is morally a fine thing to do one of them is a well respected person in global politics and the other is Donald Trump, but it would create a massive distraction and so probably not worth it. But at the same time... lol imagine if they did.
