Cool little indie/pop rock EP here from Cody Votolato (The Blood Brothers), his sister Brandi Jo, Ben Walsh (Tigers Jaw), and Jason Klein (Deaf Club) and produced by Will Yip:

The two pre-released songs were definitely the best of the bunch. Was hoping for more of that on the album.

Picked something randomly off the list to listen to. the debut album from Unturned is very good. 90s influenced pop-punk, produced by Corey from Gleemer.

Saw some recommendations for the Holy Fawn album. Good God this is scratching an itch and hitting the spot perfectly today. Thank you guys, can’t believe I haven’t heard of them until now! Added all their albums to my library.

I'm loving the new Built to Spill. Doug's been doing this since the 80s and you can tell he still absolutely loves it. A lot of people may not realize how influencial Doug and BTS was in shaping the last 30 years of indie and alternative rock

Unfortunately no... 10 year merch for Threads is it recently. Saved was SO GOOD too, hard to believe that was 4 years ago already

I'm not even that big of a fan but I think this every time I listen to them, they're so important to the last few decades of indie/alt music. The tour they're currently on is absolutely insane too, I can't fathom doing it at that age but that rules

I saw it too, listened to the track and it's really good, lots of "Saved" magic, good vocals as well. Fitting with that new Zealyn EP I had posted - which is something I keep listening to all the time since it came out. If somebody was happy for The Midnight's new music, then I guess both of those should be up your alley to some extent.

I'll add this one track, has that 80's influence (akin to the last Paper Kites albums etc.), with some The National piano bits, but that high note near the end of the song is what makes me drop ;d

Nobody does acoustic music like Rocky Votolato. So happy he is back after such a long time.
